Marlow Water Gardens provide a comprehensive pond and water feature maintenance service. The range of water features we maintain is very wide and includes formal, natural, wildlife and koi ponds. The size of water features we maintain also ranges, from a modest pond to a lake.
Services include:
- Checking / Inspection and reporting on condition.
- Planting: Managing aquatic planting and landscape planting. If required, we can supply mature plants.
- Cleaning or replacing filters. Upgrading filtration - to improve quality of water for fish ponds. We are experienced in the installation and maintenance of a wide range of pond filter systems including Evolution Aqua, TMC Marine, Oasis and Waterco.
- Cleaning, servicing and replacing equipment, such as pumps and fountains.
- Providing advice for fish stocking, restocking and supply. We have over 25 years experience in fish keeping and welfare - our team keep a large range of fish themselves. Orfe are athletic, Rudd are attractive and interesting as they shoal, Tench are slow growing, Koi carp, at the more expensive end, are particularly decorative.
- Cut back and netting (eg. for ponds located under trees) at the end of the season and removal of nets in the spring.
- Checking structure and water retention. If required we can perform a full pump-out and repair, including temporary accommodation for your fish.
We provide these services through whatever arrangement is most convenient for you. Many clients choose
- Regular ongoing maintenance contracts, where we tailor a schedule of work and frequency of visit to your requirements. Frequency of scheduled visits currently range from once a year to once a month, with about three times a year being chosen the most.
